Versioning
The current version is v1. The version is in the path.
Backward compatibility
/v1changes only additively: new endpoints, new response fields, new optional parameters, new enum values such as a gametype. Your parser must ignore what it does not know.- Every change is listed in the changelog with its date.
Deprecation
A field or parameter we mean to retire is marked Deprecated here and in the OpenAPI document, with its replacement. It keeps working for the rest of /v1; a deprecated field is never removed inside a version.

Breaking changes
A change that would break a working integration becomes /v2. It is announced in advance by email to every operator and in the changelog, and /v1 stays available for a stated period after /v2 opens.
